The Reale items are characterized by its so-called shrunk-face. With level differences in the surface of the boards Reale items have the natural appearance of a floor which has been installed many years ago and which has beared the test of time regarding environmental changes such as fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The natural appearance but not the negative side effects of a contracted and expanded floor.

Expected early 2010
Expected early 2010: certification of guarantees for the installation of Hakwood engineered flooring in combination with radiant heat flooring. Apart from the current instructions for installation over radiant heat flooring, Hakwood is actively working towards official certification which guarantees the installation of certain Hakwood engineered flooring types in combination with subfloor heating.
