BLDA Architects specify Hakwood flooring for former headquarters of RMS Titanic owner

29 June 2016

Oceanic House is a Grade 2 listed former headquarters of the famous White Star line, owner of the Titanic and located near Trafalgar Square in the heart of London. Exceptionally high quality apartments designed by BLDA architects will replace the former offices behind the existing stone facades which will evoke the Edwardian period of the building’s original construction. A combination of Hakwood Honest and Bespoke flooring has been selected by BLDA Architects and Ellmer FB Ltd to supply large format oak herringbone flooring to the panelled salons, hallways and reception rooms, with crown lines emphasising the important design axes towards key viewpoints.
